How about some waves on a Wednesday?!  Just big enough to push you over the hump of the beginning of the workweek and downhill towards the weekend.

This painting was such fun to do.  I love working with the abstract patterns in water.  The push of the waves coming onto the beach combined with the pull of the water back into the sea makes for some lovely patterns. This painting also had some wonderful reflections of the sea foam on the sand, too.  I tried to capture both the energy of the movement and the glistening light bouncing off the water.... hope you enjoy and Happy Wave-Day!

I discovered your blog from listening to the latest AHA show -- and love your painting of water and plants which shows the wonderful broken color effects that are in such harmony with each other! You have a wonderful color sense -- they really sings!
