"January's kiss"

Daylight ends so quickly in the winter.  Before I know it, sunny afternoon has turned to twilight.  The skies were clear and the day was cold but the evening colors didn't disappoint.  I love that glow at the horizon before the sun sets.  Depending on the direction you turn, you can see anything from pink to yellow to purple.  And the bare branches lit by the last rays of sunlight are so dramatic against the pale blue of the late afternoon sky.  A painter's bliss.
