"snow day" ...Day 23

Today was a snow day.  You know, late breakfast, half the day spent in your pajamas, a warm fire and for me...lots of time at the easel.  Trying to make sense of all this snow.  Playing with light and color and figuring out how far to push things and when to back off.  Or scrape off... paint, that is.  Not only that but painting outside in the snow causes the light to bounce around on your canvas and palette so that your painting looks one way outside and another way inside.  I was thinking I had pushed the color too far several times and then got the painting inside and realized I didn't push it far enough.
Like I said lots to figure out.
